MARJAN KRAJNA, prof. - acoordio

Marjan KrajnaMarjan Krajna, born in 1966 in Zagreb, graduated Accordion in 1990 at the State Russian Music Academy in Moscow in the class of Prof. V. Semjonov.  He obtained scholarship from the Ivo Pogorelic s Fund of the Concert Directorate in Zagreb. He obtained numerous national and international awards. He also obtained the special prize at the Australien International Accordion Championship & Festival, Sydney, in 2006, 2007. Performances: Austria, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Swizerland, Rumunia, Russia, Belgium, France ( Unesco – Paris ), Hungary, Australia…

He writes arrangements for chamber music ensembles and orchestras. He is the author of several pieces performed by Simphony Orchestra with the Choir of HRT (Croation Radio and Television ). He is also the author of the set of pieses for accordion orchestras pulished by HDGPP in 2005. He obtained in 1998, 2000 and 2006 the Acknowledgment from the Ministry of Sience, Education and Sports for excellent results in his work with pupils at national and international competitions. Since 1997 he has been the Director of the Music School Zlatko Balokovic in Zagreb.

Mate MatišićMate Matišic plays guitar, he is a writer and composer. His theatrical pieces have been translated in English, Russian, Bulgarian, Hungarian. Macedonian and Slovenian languages and they have been performed in numerous European renowned theatres (sush as Pushkin Theatre in Moscow, Theatre 1999 in Sofia etc.).He is the author or co – author of screenplays for featured pictures which were awarded a number of renowned international prizes: When Dead Sing (director: K. A Story of Croatia (director: K. Papić), Living with my oncle (director: K. Papić).Along with writing, he intensively composed music for the following films: How the War started on my Island (director: V. Brešan), Marshal (director: V. Brešan), Witnesses (director: V. Brešan), Beatiful Night in Split (director: A. Ostojić), Infection (director: K. Papić), Go Yellow! (director: D. Zarković).

JURICA ŠTELMA - double bass

Jurica ŠtelmaJurica Stelma plays double bass since he was 13. After graduation at the Music Academy in Zagreb, he finished Master of Music studies at the UW, Seattle, USA, in 2000. Attended many bass master classes, and as well bass competitions. Since 1998 he holds the principal double bass position at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. He is most active with numerous and various bands, from classical chamber ensembles, jazz bands, latin jazz bands, to a few rockabilly bands, which are his original passion, and with whom he has recorded many albums in Spain and Germany.

Brešan), Svjedoci (redatelj: V. Brešan) - Ta divna splitska noć3; ( redatelj: A. Ostojić); - Infekcija (redatelj: K. Papić), - Ajmo žuti (redatelj D. Žarković).
